Fountainblue, Eden Roc and Wolfies
Sunday 31st January, 1982. Drove down to Miami Beach, down Collins Avenue past the Fontainebluea and Eden Roc to Wolfies Diner. It was packed with early birds. Blintzes and brisket were on special. We walked on the beach, a white expanse surprisingly empty but for Cuban families enjoying the dusk. To Little Havana, the Versailles Restaurant a large, flamboyant place; Black beans, fried plantains and rice, good coffee.
